What makes the Insurance Nerd unique is that we do not use any single insurance provider like many of the other online insurance companies. We are classed as a whole of market broker which means when you quote on our system you can choose from the best providers to find the best cover. We think this is important as everyone is different and there is no single fit for all policy provider. You can find a list of the insurance providers we use on the quote page many of which are household names.
On the contrary, as we are a whole of market provider we do not work for any single insurance provider, in actual fact we work for you to make sure you get the most suitable insurance product for your circumstances.
The truth is over 98% of policies pay out in the UK. The times the insurance does not pay out is where the person applying has not been honest on their application, for example if you smoke and have said you are a non smoker on you application. Or if you have a illness and have not disclosed that. It is important to always disclose all the true facts when you take a policy out.
Absolutely, if your diabetes is well managed and you have your regular required checkups you can still get life insurance with Diabetes. If you struggle online you can always speak to one of our advisors on the phone and they will guide you.
Its definitely not impossible and we regularly quote for people with chronic illnesses so its always worth a go on the quote system or speaking to one of our advisors.
